Neil Harbisson speaks at TikTok Academy: Elevate Leadership Summit | MN2S

Cyborg artist Neil Harbisson delivered an inspiring talk at TikTok’s leadership academy.

Neil Harbisson was invited to appear at TikTok’s Elevate Leadership Summit, the concluding event in the social media platform’s leadership development programme; Harbisson delivered a one-hour speech to attendees of the summit, which took place in Bali. TikTok Elevate is a program that sees the social media network working in close collaboration with a cohort of 350 emerging agency leaders to cultivate a generation of professionals adept at navigating the intersection of marketing and innovation. Neil Harbisson is a colourblind artist and activist best known for having an antenna implanted in his skull, allowing him to perceive colours via audible vibrations in his skull. Harbisson identifies as a cyborg and his art explores themes of identity and perception; in 2010 he co-founded the Cyborg Foundation, an international organisation that seeks to promote transspecies rights.
