Last week veteran DJ duo X-Press 2 returned to BBC Radio 6. For the fourth time this year they were granted 2 hours behind the decks for popular feature, the 6 Mix.
X-Press 2 have been DJing and producing together for over 20 years. In that time their defining track was a collaboration with David Byrne, the instantly recognisable “Lazy”. For their mix they drew on their wealth of experience and produced a comprehensive 2 hour journey through their collective influences.
Other guests this month included the constantly evolving electronic pair, Simian Mobile Disco, as well as key member of Faithless, Sister Bliss.
To round out the month Jamie XX will return for another episode of his residency series.
