Dr. Tara's Sexual Profile Quiz featured in Cosmopolitan | MN2S

MN2S PR client, media personality and sexual communication expert Dr. Tara is helping Cosmo readers understand their sexual profiles.

Dr. Tara has been featured in in Cosmopolitan UK as an expert voice on the rise of “sexual personality” quizzes designed to help people better understand and communicate their desires. In the article, she introduces the Sexual Profile quiz, a research-informed questionnaire built around 24 questions that map individuals across key dimensions of sexual preference, including consistency vs. variety, gentleness vs. animalism, and monogamy vs. flexibility, resulting in 16 possible profiles.

Dr Tara explains that many people (particularly women) grow up without the language to describe their sexual needs, which can lead to confusion or shame. Her quiz is designed to change that, giving people simple, non-judgemental words to start more open and honest conversations with partners. She also stresses that these profiles aren’t supposed to provide rigid labels but a starting point: something to reflect on and use to support better communication and connection over time.  “Growing up, I always felt like I was different from the prescription of our society, which was heterosexual and monogamous,” Dr. Tara tells Cosmo. “But I never really had the terms to understand my personal thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I wanted to create a language to help spark further conversation.”
