One of the UK’s hottest new talents speaks with Trace UK about his career so far, musical inspirations and his latest release.
Drewmula has taken part in Trace Urban’s SKIP SKIP, an interview series billed as “the place where artists give us all the back stories on the making of their latest album”. Giving viewers an insight into the creation of his most recent release, the Chemistry EP, Drewmula also opens up about the origin of his stage name, the inspiration he takes from his father, and his admiration for Lil Wayne and Mark Morrison.

Drewmula released his debut EP, Chemistry, in August. The nine-track project breezes confidently between UK RnB, afroswing, and tropical pop, featuring singles such as “WANTING”, “NO PALAVA” and “CAUTIOUS”, a track which is now being featured on Trace Urban.
