Following a respectable performance in last month’s Indy 500, Team Penske veteran Hélio Castroneves caught up with Sporting News.
Speaking with Sporting News, the legendary racer and three-time Indy 500 champion talked about the significance of the race, the dangers of driving in public and his career so far. Talking about the legendary competition, Castroneves said: “you’re talking about [a race that is] over 100 years old. Because of that, the tradition, obviously the challenge of the place – it grows in everybody’s mind. You’ve seen European people coming over, and then absent later, and then back again. It’s definitely a place that people really enjoy to be around.”
