The rising hip-hop artist and MN2S PR client sat down with Notion to talk over his new project Chunkadelic.
Nur-D has been featured in Notion as part of an interview digging into the creation of his latest project and his musical background. Talking about how his musical journey began, Nur-D pointed to Stevie Wonder as a significant influence. “When I was a kid, we were helping a family friend move and I sat down on the floor with this old CD player thing. Inside there was a copy of Stevie Wonder’s Songs in the Key of Life and I picked a song at random. It was ‘Sir Duke’ and from the moment that song started I knew that I wanted to figure out how to make magic like that. It has been a constant hunt to recapture that feeling.”
