Model, activist and MN2S PR client Yasmin Benoit spoke to Glamour UK for Ace Week.
Yasmin Benoit was interviewed by Glamour UK as part of a feature exploring asexuality. Yasmin spoke about her personal path towards understanding her own asexuality, and the significance of raising awareness surrounding asexual issues, along with LGBTQ rights more generally. “Those stereotypes and toxic misconceptions I heard as a 15-year-old from my classmates at school? I still hear them today,” Yasmin writes. “We live in a society obsessed with relationships; where to love and be loved by another person is not only the ultimate aspiration, but the expectation.” Yasmin Benoit is one of the most prominent figures within the global asexual community.
