Craig David drops in at Barasti Beach for surprise ‘House of Whatever’ performance

R&B superstar Craig David made a surprise appearance House of Whatever, the premier event at Dubai’s Barasti Beach.

Dubai’s Barasti Beach has been a central part of the city’s social scene for over a decade. Situated alongside the pure white sands of a beach of the same name, it forms part of the opulent Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort. Spectacularly set against the stunning backdrop of the Dubai Marina, the popular venue is known for its perpetual good vibes and buzzing atmosphere.

Craig David’s appearance at House of Whatever was secured by the MN2S Programming Department.

On June 20th, Barasti stunned attendees with a surprise guest at their regular House of Whatever event. Rocking up unannounced at 1am, Craig David turned up to present his world-renowned TS5 performance, taking in hits from his recent comeback album along with R&B classics such as ‘Walking Away’ and ‘Fill Me In’ while keeping the crowd going until sunrise with an electrifying selection of R&B, UKG, house and pop.

MN2S have an established relationship with Dubai’s Barasti Beach after successfully programming events there for more than a decade: we’ve booked Little Boots, Dirty Vegas, Technotronic, Coolio, Toploader, Crazy P and more to play at this idyllic beachside venue. MN2S put together the line-up for the Smirnoff Sound Collective’s three-day party at Barasti Beach, bringing revered Italian DJ and producer Benny Benassi to headline a line-up full of heavy-hitting EDM artists that drew a record-breaking 30,000 attendees to the festival.

“Craig David is the first in a line-up of exciting surprise events to hit Barasti’s House of Whatever this summer. Chinese whispers aside, there will be no revealing what’s to come – so make sure you get down to Barasti or be prepared to experience the ultimate FOMO.”
