Promoters and venues rely on us to put together incredible line-ups, custom-tailored to suit the occasion and the crowd. This year, we’re working with the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod to put together a star-studded final day for Llanfest 2019, bringing some of the hottest names in British indie rock to Llangollen, North Wales.
Curating the line-up for the festival’s finale on Sunday 7th July, MN2S have selected The Coral, The Fratellis, The Pigeon Detectives and Dodgy to perform, rounding off an incredible festival weekend that will see audiences of over 50,000 descend upon the town for a program that covers six days of celebration.
In operation since 1947, this historical event has grown to become one of Wales’ premiere summer festivals, bringing over five thousand singers, dancers and instrumentalists from almost 50 countries to perform each year. The 2018 edition of Llanfest saw The Kaiser Chiefs, The Hoosiers and Toploader play to adoring crowds, with unsigned and emerging musicians also performing across three outdoor stages packed with rock, indie, and pop acts.
Llanfest will be a rare chance for Welsh music fans to witness these three iconic indie acts in one place, with the Wirral-based The Coral playing their beloved classics, including ‘Dreaming of You’ and ‘In The Morning’, and indie legends The Fratellis expected to perform hits including ‘Chelsea Dagger’ and’ Whistle For The Choir’.
Speaking to the Shropshire Star about the line-up announcement, The Coral frontman James Skelly said: “We can’t wait to be a part of a festival which brings together musical talent from all over the world, and in such a beautiful location in North Wales. We’re really excited to join such a brilliant line-up for Llanfest 2019, to come together with other artists to support the ethos of global peace at a festival is something quite special. It’s going to be one of those stand-out summer gigs, for sure.”
