Molly Thompson-Smith speaks at Amazon's International Woman's Day event | MN2S

The climbing champion delivered an inspiring keynote speech for Amazon’s IWD event.

MN2S has arranged a keynote speaking engagement for professional climber and Paris 2024 Olympian Molly Thompson-Smith at Amazon’s International Women’s Day event, held in partnership with Publicis. Aligned with this year’s IWD theme, “Balance the Scales,” the event brought together women leaders from across advertising, gaming, and sport to share their personal journeys and inspire the next generation of female talent.

Thompson-Smith delivered a 20-minute keynote address, drawing on her experience breaking barriers in women’s athletics to explore themes of representation, equity, and male allyship. The session aimed to provide attendees with practical career insights and actionable takeaways, while building community among colleagues and leaders across Amazon Ads and Publicis. It’s another high-profile corporate partnership facilitated by MN2S, connecting world-class sporting talent with leading global brands.

Molly Thompson-Smith is one of Britain’s leading competitive climbers and a Paris 2024 Olympian. Raised in London’s Ladbroke Grove, she started climbing aged eight at her local sports centre and was ranked world number one by the age of 16 after winning the European Youth Cup. In 2017, she became the first British woman to win a medal at a Lead World Cup event, taking bronze in Slovenia, and has since claimed five national lead climbing titles. A mixed-race athlete and one of the few climbers of colour on the World Cup circuit, Thompson-Smith is a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion in the sport, working with the British Mountaineering Council to widen participation. Off the wall, she is an engaging and authentic public speaker, making her a natural fit for corporate events centred on empowerment, representation, and breaking barriers.
