Not everyone is going to have quite the same passion for cars as celebrity speaker and top journalist MrJWW. But for those who do have a need for speed, a passion for petrol or just a straight up love of cars, MrJWW is the ultimate celebrity booking.
He’s carved out a brand for himself in the very niche area of car vlogging – but it’s one that’s proved to be hugely successful. Starting out filming vlogs on his iPhone, MrJWW now has over 200,000 subscribers on YouTube, and he’s in demand as a content creator and presenter with some of the world’s biggest car manufacturers.
With his car vlog regularly clocking up hundreds of thousands or even millions of views, it’s no surprise that car companies are queuing up to show off their latest kit on his channel. And cars are in this petrolhead’s blood; his grandad dealt in classic cars, his uncle restored Aston Martins and his dad raced in Formula One.
He said: “I remember my dad putting me in a go-kart at a very young age, and it didn’t take long for me to get hooked on anything with an engine and wheels. I strangely made a transition from karting to racing motocross before passing my driving test, which is when I got the taste for ‘proper’ cars.”
The channel has given him some incredible opportunities, from governments closing roads for him to drifting a £160,000 car up the side of a Volcano – and on one occasion, he even flew a Pagani Zonda from Dubai to Italy, just for a service.
The channel has helped to nurture a supportive and engaged community of car lovers, who’s feedback about videos in the YouTube comments and on social media – and MrJWW says the people he’s met on his journey has been one of the highlights of starting his YouTube channel.
“I’ve had the privilege of drifting with Felipe Massa and Valtteri Bottas, lapping the Bahrain race circuit with royalty and racing on ice with Bruno Senna. I’ve even done the Gumball Rally with Tony Hawk and David Hasselhoff! But while I couldn’t pick one standout person, the overriding theme here is that we all met as like-minded people passionate about cars. It’s an awesome way to hang out.”
The jet-setting car-loving superstar is very much on the ascendant, and his success on YouTube has led to numerous other career opportunities for him, from writing for GQ magazine to presenting work and invitations to exclusive events.
His insider’s perspective on the car industry is one that anyone with a passion for motoring is sure to enjoy, and as an authoritative voice on the luxury car industry, he’s well placed to represent all sorts of brands. To find out more about booking MrJWW, contact his booking agent.
