
Traxsource have shared end-of-year stats for each label and artist on their platform, and it looks like MN2S Label Services clients have had a banner year. Let’s run through the results for five of our top labels…
1. Tropical Disco Records

The venerable Tropical Disco Records are celebrating another successful year at the top of their game, as they continue to release high-charting cuts that consistently capture the attention of the global nu-disco and disco-house scenes. This year, TDR racked up 20 Top 10 positions and an incredible 143 appearances in the Top 100. Tropical Disco tunes hit the Hype Charts 168 times, while featuring in over 1000 DJ Charts. Incredible numbers.
2. Quantize Recordings

One of soulful house’s most celebrated institutions, Quantize is headed up by longtime friend of MN2S DJ Spen, and every single one of their releases – digital and physical – has been distributed by MN2S. Quantize had an incredible 2022, reaching Number 1 on Traxsource with 6 different releases, hitting the Top 10 60 times and breaking into the Top 100 over 300 times.
3. Ocha Records

Formerly a sublabel of Osunlade’s Yoruba Records, Ocha is now a standalone imprint, regularly issuing spiritually-focused house music that seeks to uplift and enlighten. The label’s head, Coflo Ferreira, describes Ocha’s mission as “pushing to the corners of creativity within dance music without losing the spirit of why we set out to release music in the first place.” The label did brilliantly this year, scoring two Number 1 records and 20 appearances in the site-wide Top 10.
4. Sunflowermusic Records

Sunflowermusic has been a major player in the global house music scene since their inception in 2016. This year, they hit the top spot with “People Hold On” by Aldo Bergamasco and Becka, while scoring a total of 10 appearances in the Top 10, and 52 showings in the Hype Charts – one for each week of the year.
5. Liquid Deep Recordings

Founded in 2007 and headed up by the Grammy-winning producer Booker T, Liquid Deep were riding high this year after Booker’s remix of “Back To Life” was nominated for Best Remixed Recording at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards. There’s more to celebrate here, with two Number 1 releases and 15 appearances in the Top 10.
