The Colombian DJ and producer DJ Dayvi is regarded as one of the most influential producers of tribal house electronic music currently on the scene in Latin America. In 2019 the artist collaborated with fellow DJ/producer Victor Cárdenas and the singer Kelly Ruiz on the hit track “Baila Conmigo”, which since gone viral, having accumulated over 95 million views across both YouTube and Spotify. It went on to reach No 7 on Spotify’s Global Viral 50 chart and was undoubtedly one the summer’s top hits, making Dayvi one of the most widely known producers in Mexico.
Having been an established DJ in the music industry since 2012, Dayvi is recognised for his production of energetic hands-in-the-air anthems, including the hit tracks “Sheiken” and “Cosa Divina”. Another of the artists best-known tracks is the original mix “Sax To Me”, a collaboration with the artist Joseph Qas. Dayvi has also produced a selection of albums and Ep’s throughout his career including the 2017 EP Emotions, along with the full-length projects Fire and Qu Parezca Fiesta de Guaracha, released in 2019.
Known for his distinctive tribal house sound influenced by regional styles such as Guaracha, Zapateo and Aleteo, Dayvi is considered a pioneering DJ and producer within his field. Performing at top festivals across Central and South America, including his home country of Colombia, he is highly revered amongst Latin American music artists with his mixes featuring regularly on influential collections including the 2019 Aleteo Zapateo Vol 4. The DJ is also known for his hit collaborations with well-known singers and DJs including Nico Parga, Wafia and Mike Restrepo.
