JILUKA is a Japanese visual kei metal band recognized for its “Electro Gothic Metal” sound, combining heavy metalcore with elements of hip-hop and EDM. After releasing their debut EP, ‘Brave Agonistic Letters Under Segregation,’ in April 2015, JILUKA quickly established themselves as a leading force in the Japanese visual kei metal scene. The band, known for its distinctive ‘Electro Gothic Metal’ sound that fuses heavy metalcore with hip-hop and EDM influences, first formed in 2013 before restarting in 2015 with its current lineup of Ricko (vocals), Sena (guitar), Boogie (bass), and Zyean (drums). This unique sonic blend, combined with technical prowess and powerful scream vocals, garnered significant early recognition, including their first solo concert in Ikebukuro in 2016.
Their momentum carried into 2024 with the launch of the ‘WORLD TOUR 2024 ‘K4RMA’,’ featuring sold-out dates across Europe and a high-profile show in Los Angeles. The tours success led to ‘K4RMA – The Return,’ which extended their international footprint to include Italy, Finland, and China, while domestically they achieved second place on JRock News’s Top 10 Visual Kei and Japanese Rock Artists list. Demonstrating a commitment to independent artist development, JILUKA founded their own label, Faizh Music, in 2024, taking full control of their releases and career trajectory. Looking ahead to 2025, the band is set for an extensive North American tour supporting Imminence.
Further broadening their international appeal, JILUKA will embark on ‘The KVLT’ 10th Anniversary World Tour, which includes dates across South America and appearances at major festivals such as Anime Summit in Brazil, showcasing their continued global expansion.
