Morten Breum, born on May 26, 1982, in Aarhus, Denmark, began his professional music career in 2008 with his first track “Højere Vildere” alongside Rune RK, featuring Nik & Jay. His breakthrough arrived in 2010 with “Domestic,” which reached No. 3 on the Danish Singles Chart. This period saw the release of his albums _Drop!_ in 2009 and _Nightclub Session_ in 2010. Morten’s early work established his presence in the Danish music scene, blending house and electro sounds.

A significant turning point in Morten’s career came with his collaboration and close friendship with French DJ and producer David Guetta. Together, they developed and coined the ‘Future Rave’ genre, merging elements of EDM, techno, and trance. This collaboration led to a four-track EP titled _New Rave_ in 2020 and numerous hit records. Morten’s sound is characterized by its ability to combine melodic, captivating vocals with hard-hitting snare and bass-heavy drops, distinguishing his style globally. He has consistently released successful tracks, accumulating an audience of 4.7 million monthly listeners on Spotify.

Demonstrating his broader creative and entrepreneurial interests, Morten launched his clothing line, ‘BBA,’ which became Denmark’s most successful merchandise line, selling out collections within hours. His career progression is marked by extensive touring, playing 147 shows across the world in 2022 alone. He has performed at major international festivals, including Ultra Music Festival, EDC Las Vegas, Tomorrowland, and Creamfields. In 2022, he also debuted a residency alongside David Guetta at Hï Ibiza. His work has received recognition, including entering the DJ Mag Top 100 at number 39 in 2021 and winning Best Highlight Video at Clubbing TV’s Music Video Awards for “Dreams” with David Guetta. His continued success in 2023 indicates ongoing growth with new releases and announcements.
