Daniel “Danny” Tenaglia is a renowned Italian American DJ and record producer whose career has significantly shaped the electronic dance music scene. He began his professional journey in the mid-1980s, establishing himself as a resident DJ at Cheers nightclub in Miami, where he showcased classic New York and Chicago house music. This early experience laid the foundation for his future success, as he returned to New York and began creating remixes for notable artists, including Right Said Fred and Madonna, which garnered him widespread recognition.

Tenaglia’s breakthrough came with his remix of Daou’s “Surrender Yourself” in 1993, marking the start of a prolific period in his career. He released several influential label compilations, such as “Mix This Pussy” and “Can Your Pussy Do the Dog?” for TRIBAL, which solidified his reputation in the dance music community.
