Tyler Marenyi, known professionally as Nghtmre, is an acclaimed American DJ and electronic dance music producer hailing from Raleigh, North Carolina. After obtaining a degree in finance from Elon University, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his passion for music. His journey began at Icon Collective Music Production School, where he forged significant collaborations with fellow producers, notably Slander, leading to numerous joint performances and tours that showcased their electrifying synergy.
Nghtmre initially gained traction by creating trap and house remixes of popular tracks from artists like Tiësto and Skrillex. His breakthrough moment came when Skrillex featured one of his original songs during a set at the prestigious Ultra Music Festival. This exposure led to a signing with Diplo’s Mad Decent label, where he released his debut track “Street” and made a memorable festival debut at EDC Las Vegas in 2015, marking the start of his ascent in the electronic music scene.
