With over two decades of professional involvement in the electronic music scene, DJ and producer Trent Cantrelle has established a dynamic career marked by diverse productions across Electro, House, and Tech-House. Cantrelle began building his extensive discography with notable releases such as ‘Fallin’ Off The Floor’ on Whoop! Records in 2004, followed by impactful collaborations including ‘Runaway’ and ‘The Drugs’ with Nynex and Josh Atchley, respectively, both on SR2 Music in 2005. His prolific output continued with ‘Goodbye’ on SR2 Music in 2006 and ‘You Don’t Have To Cry’ with Freddy Be on Critical Rhythm in 2007.
A significant career milestone came in early 2009 when Cantrelle founded his own digital imprint, Sounds Like, providing a platform for his artistic vision and further expanding his reach. Following the establishment of Sounds Like, Cantrelle continued to deliver high-charting productions and cultivate influential collaborations. He released ‘Come With Me’ with Manufactured Superstars and Jeziel Quintela on Blu Music in 2010, and showcased his solo work with ‘Crush Groove’ on Manufactured Music in 2011. The same year, he rejoined Sydney Blu, Manufactured Superstars, and Jeziel Quintela for ‘Lights Out’ also on Blu Music.
Further extending his global reach and influence, Cantrelle hosts the weekly ‘Sounds Like Radio’ show, broadcast to a wide audience on platforms including Sirius XM, Pioneer DJ Radio, and Radio FG.
