Austin Brown

Austin Brown commenced his acclaimed career by signing with Interscope Records and later South Five Records, building a foundation through significant collaborations with industry powerhouses such as Tim & Bob, The Underdogs, Cory Rooney, Q-Tip, Pharrell Williams, and Rodney ‘Darkchild’ Jerkins. In 2011, he released his debut single, ‘All I Need,’ on KIIS-FM and introduced his mixtape, ‘Highway 85,’ at Wango Tango. His music video for ‘Menage A Trois’ gained international attention in 2012, charting at number 1 on UK’s Bang Radio 103.6 FM for three consecutive weeks. The same year, Brown performed at CSU East Bay’s ‘Springfest,’ made televised appearances on FOX’s ‘Good Day New York’ and CNN, and appeared on the Pandora stage at SXSW, also joining the BET ‘Music Matters’ program.

Austin Brown expanded his work into music production and songwriting, notably in 2018, where he was credited as a writer and producer for Ashlee + Evan’s debut EP, contributing to tracks such as ‘I Do,’ ‘Paris,’ ‘Tonic,’ and ‘I Want You.’ His comprehensive musical capabilities were also showcased on Macy Gray’s album ‘Ruby’ in 2018, where he took on diverse roles as a writer, drummer, guitarist, musician, and background vocalist, demonstrating his instrumental versatility across keyboards, synthesizer, and xylophone. Beyond his artistic pursuits, Brown has actively supported a range of philanthropic causes, including Operation Smile, Red Eye, A Place Called Home, Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, Friend Movement Campaign, and After-School All-Stars.
