He began his professional journey in 2010 by founding the trio Ayron Jones and the Way, where he showcased his exceptional talent and passion for music. Their debut album, “Dream,” released in 2013, was produced pro bono by the renowned Sir Mix-a-Lot, marking a significant milestone in Jones’s career and establishing him as a promising artist in the Seattle music scene.
In 2017, after the departure of his bandmates, Jones embraced a solo career, releasing his second album, “Audio Paint Job,” which was described as autobiographical and featured a rich collaboration with various artists. This album further solidified his reputation as a compelling storyteller and musician, culminating in a successful release show at the Neptune Theatre. His ability to connect with audiences through his music became evident as he performed alongside legendary acts such as B.B. King and Guns N’ Roses.
Jones’s major breakthrough came in 2020 when he signed with Big Machine/John Varvatos, releasing his debut single “Take Me Away.” This marked the beginning of a new chapter in his career, leading to the release of his critically acclaimed album, “Child of the State,” in 2021.
