Belmont

Belmont has transitioned from a local pop-punk act to an internationally recognized rock band. After self-releasing their debut EP, ‘Vicissitude,’ in 2015, produced by Mat Kerekes of Citizen, Belmont quickly established their distinctive sound. The band, featuring frontman and lead vocalist Taz Johnson, guitarist Sam Patt, bassist Alex Wieringa, and drummer Brian Lada, signed with Mutant League Records in 2016. This partnership led to the release of their EP ‘Between You & Me’ later that year, building their fanbase and critical recognition.

This stylistic evolution allows them to continuously captivate a broad audience while pushing artistic boundaries. Most recently, Belmont delivered their highly anticipated third studio album, ‘Liminal,’ on April 12, 2024, featuring the single ‘All Bite.’ The album has been noted for its exploration of themes of transition and adaptation, showcasing frontman Taz Johnson’s lyrical depth and the band’s continued artistic evolution. Belmont maintains an active touring schedule, performing at notable venues including Amsterdam Bar and Hall, The Oriental Theater, The Urban Lounge, The Shredder, and The Crocodile. Their consistent output of critically recognized music and dynamic live performances continues to cement their status as an influential and marketable act in the contemporary rock landscape, driving ongoing success.
