Professionally known as Blackbear, Matthew Tyler Musto is an American singer, songwriter, musician and record producer. Musto first began his interest in music when he was in fourth grade. When Musto was in high school, he sang for a Florida based rock band, Polaroid. Polaroid released one album, titled Paint the Town, one extended play, titled Inside And Out, and one demo, The Cure Demo. When Musto moved to Atlanta, he began working with Ne-Yo. Musto released his first extended play titled Brightness in 2008.
He released two more EPs, one in 2009 titled Contrast, and another in 2010 titled Exposure. Musto collaborated with Tyler Carter for a Christmas single and released another single shortly after that, titled Douche Bag. Until now, Musto has released five studio albums, one mixtape, two collaborative albums and six EPs. Musto released two albums in 2015, titled Deadroses and Help.
