Bury Tomorrow, a prominent British metalcore band formed in 2006 in Southampton, has made significant strides in the music industry over the years. With a lineup that includes lead vocalist Daniel Winter-Bates and bassist Davyd Winter-Bates, the band quickly established themselves with their debut EP, “The Sleep of the Innocents,” in 2007, followed by their first studio album, “Portraits,” released in 2009. This album showcased their commitment to the metalcore genre, earning them a dedicated fanbase and opportunities to tour with notable acts like Asking Alexandria and Of Mice & Men.
In 2012, Bury Tomorrow signed with Nuclear Blast, allowing them to produce their second album, “The Union of Crowns,” which debuted at number 6 on the UK Rock & Metal Chart. Their ability to blend melodic elements with heavy riffs was further refined in their third album, “Runes,” released in 2014, which reached number 1 on the UK Rock chart. The band’s transition to Sony Music in 2017 led to the release of “Black Flame” in 2018, which included the hit single “Knife of Gold.” Their continued innovation and dedication to their craft were evident in their sixth album, “Cannibal,” released in 2020, which showcased their ability to adapt and grow while maintaining their signature sound.
Most recently, Bury Tomorrow released their seventh studio album, “The Seventh Sun,” in March 2023, further establishing their legacy in the metalcore genre. With a new lineup featuring Ed Hartwell and Tom Prendergast, the band continues to push boundaries and captivate audiences, proving their resilience and commitment to their art.
