Chromatics was an electronic music band known for its atmospheric soundscapes and cinematic contributions to film and television. After gaining critical acclaim for their 2007 album Night Drive, electronic music band Chromatics became known for their atmospheric soundscapes and cinematic contributions to film and television. Formed in 2001, the initial lineup, including Adam Miller, released their debut album, Chrome Rats vs. Basement Rutz, in 2003 on Gold Standard Laboratories, followed by Plaster Hounds in 2004.

The band’s final chapter concluded in August 2021 when core members Ruth Radelet, Adam Miller, and Nat Walker announced Chromatics’ disbandment. Over two decades, Chromatics established themselves as innovators in electronic music, leaving a lasting legacy through their distinctive sound, critical acclaim, and significant contributions to film and television.
