Lies is a Netherlands-based metallic hardcore band known for its uncompromising sound, which fuses 90s European metalcore with a modern heavy style. The band is recognized for their explosive live shows and raw intensity. Lies has shared stages with notable bands such as Hatebreed, Sick Of It All, and Agnostic Front. The band maintains an active touring schedule, having performed across Europe. They participated in the 2025 Rebellion Tour alongside Madball, Speed, Guilt Trip, and Death Before Dishonor, and followed this with a 2025/2026 tour with Born From Pain. Lies is preparing for the CD release of “Victory Defeats Us All” and has a new album planned for 2027.

In 2022, Mike and Nate Kinsella formed an American indie rock band named Lies. They released two songs, “Blemishes” and “Echoes,” in May 2022, followed by “Summer Somewhere” three months later. In September 2021, Lies shared “Corbeau,” and in November 2022, “Camera Chimera.” Their debut self-titled album was announced in February 2023 and released on March 31, 2023. This project is a separate entity from the Dutch hardcore band.
