Chromeo is an electro-funk duo renowned for their consistent musical output and cross-cultural partnership, achieving global recognition and a Grammy nomination. After releasing their critically acclaimed debut album ‘She’s in Control’ in 2004, electro-funk duo Chromeo immediately gained global recognition with the track ‘Needy Girl’ becoming a worldwide club hit and serving as a ‘musical passport’ for the group. Formed in 2002, Chromeo quickly carved out a distinctive sound blending soul, dance, rock, synth-pop, disco, and funk, drawing comparisons to iconic 1980s artists like Hall & Oates and Prince. Their consistent output has resulted in six studio albums to date, with three successfully charting on the Billboard 200.

That same year, they released the ‘Quarantine Casanova’ EP, with all proceeds directly benefiting Colin Kaepernick’s Know Your Rights Camp COVID-19 Relief Fund. In 2021, the duo released their live album ‘Date Night: Chromeo Live!’, capturing their first full-band tour. They returned to the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival stage in 2023, showcasing their sustained appeal to major festival audiences. Chromeo’s latest album, ‘Adult Contemporary,’ released in 2024, continues to push their distinctive electro-funk sound forward, reinforcing their commitment to a long-term artistic legacy.
