Al McKay is a celebrated guitarist, songwriter, and record producer, renowned for his pivotal role in the iconic band Earth, Wind & Fire (EWF). Joining EWF in 1973, McKay collaborated closely with founder Maurice White, contributing to the creation of timeless hits such as “September” and “Sing A Song.” His innovative guitar work and songwriting prowess helped shape the band’s signature sound, earning them multiple Grammy Awards and a place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2000.
