Citizen Soldier is a rock band that addresses mental health issues through their music, offering a message of support and understanding to their audience. After forming in 2016 with a clear mission to address mental health issues through their music, Citizen Soldier quickly established a distinct voice in the rock genre. The band released their debut single in 2017, followed by their inaugural EP, Caroline, the same year. Their commitment to mental health advocacy, which they describe as creating a ‘group therapy dynamic,’ became a defining characteristic of their work, aiming to combat stigma and support listeners.

This dedication was further solidified with the release of their debut album, Relentless, in 2019, showcasing their lyrical depth and impactful sound. Citizen Soldier continued their prolific output, releasing the album Down the Rabbit Hole in 2020. This was followed by the two-part project, This Is Your Sign Part I in 2021 and This Is Your Sign Part II in 2022, demonstrating a consistent narrative progression and thematic exploration within their discography. Their strategic approach of releasing album tracks as singles prior to full album drops allowed them to build anticipation and engage their dedicated fanbase consistently throughout these years.

The band is also set to embark on ‘The HeartSupport Tour’ in 2025, a partnership with HeartSupport, designed to provide crucial mental health support to their audience at shows. These upcoming ventures underscore Citizen Soldier’s sustained dedication to their musical craft and their enduring advocacy.
