After releasing their breakthrough single ‘Shinners13’ in 2017, the hip-hop duo City Morgue, comprised of ZillaKami and SosMula, rapidly rose to prominence, solidifying a unique sound blending punk rap and trap metal. The duo followed this initial success with additional singles like ‘Sk8 Head’ and ’33rd Blakk Glass’ in 2018, leading up to their highly anticipated debut album, City Morgue Vol 1: Hell or High Water, released on October 12, 2018. The single ‘HAHA WACO’ was released on August 25, 2023, preceding their highly anticipated final studio album, My Bloody America, which premiered on September 15, 2023.
