Cochren & Co. is a contemporary Christian band led by the talented singer/songwriter Michael Cochren, who has made significant strides in the music industry since forming the group. Originating from Pike County, Indiana, Cochren’s passion for music blossomed early, leading him to create a band with friends after graduation. This collaboration eventually included his wife, Leah Cochren, and they began touring under the name Cochren & Co., captivating audiences with their heartfelt performances and uplifting messages.
In 2018, Cochren & Co. signed with TobyMac’s Gotee Records, marking a pivotal moment in their career. Their debut single, “Church (Take Me Back),” achieved remarkable success, reaching the Top 10 on Billboard’s Christian Airplay chart. This accomplishment set the stage for their nomination for Break Out Single of the Year at the 2019 K-Love Fan Awards, showcasing their growing influence in the contemporary Christian music scene.
The band’s debut full-length album, “Don’t Lose Hope,” released in January 2021, further solidified their presence in the industry. The album featured three Top 10 Billboard radio hits, including the RIAA® Certified Gold single “Church (Take Me Back).” The title track was even featured in an episode of CBS’s MacGyver, demonstrating their crossover appeal and the impact of their music.
Cochren & Co. continued to build on their success with their sophomore album, “Running Home,” released in February 2023. The title track became their first No. 1 radio single, while the song “Thank God For Sunday Morning” was recognized as one of K-LOVE’s 22 Songs That Defined 2022. Their historic debut at the Grand Ole Opry in June 2023 marked another milestone, and with a busy touring schedule and more music on the horizon, Cochren & Co. are poised for even greater achievements in the future.
