Cody Wise

Cody Wise was born on December 29, 1995, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His early career highlighted his theatrical talents, beginning with the role of young Simba in the Broadway musical “The Lion King.” He further expanded his stage experience with appearances in “Damn Yankees” alongside Sean Hayes, “The Scottsboro Boys,” and “The Nutcracker.” These foundational experiences honed his performance skills before his entry into the music industry. A significant turning point occurred when, at the age of 13, his rendition of The Jackson 5’s “Who’s Loving You” at a Philadelphia concert, Fam Jams, captured the attention of will.i.am. This encounter led to a mentorship and several years of musical development under will.i.am’s guidance.

In 2014, Cody Wise officially signed with Interscope Records through will.i.am’s imprint, Pegasus Entertainment. That same year, he gained widespread recognition for featuring on will.i.am’s single “It’s My Birthday.” This song reached the top of the charts in the United Kingdom and achieved a top ten position in Australia. The duo performed the track on “Britain’s Got Talent” in May 2014. He also released “Love Like This” as a lead artist single in 2014 and featured on Anja Nissen’s “I’m So Excited” alongside will.i.am. His collaboration with Sergio Mendes and will.i.am on “My My My My Love” was included on Mendes’s 2014 album “Magic.”

Wise has continued to pursue both his singing career and his involvement in various projects, including an online presence as an “International recording artist singer/songwriter” and his role as Founder of Wise Media, focusing on branding and digital marketing for crypto, fintech, and real estate brands.
