After releasing their debut studio album, ‘Business as Usual,’ in 1981, which achieved international success, Colin Hay, as the lead vocalist of Men at Work, quickly rose to global prominence. Hay first formed an acoustic duo with Ron Strykert in 1978, which soon evolved into the iconic band Men at Work by 1979. The band’s initial success with ‘Business as Usual’ established them as a formidable presence in the music industry.

Following Men at Work’s disbandment in 1986, Hay embarked on a robust solo career, releasing his debut single ‘Hold Me’ in January 1987, swiftly followed by his first solo album, ‘Looking for Jack,’ later that year.
