Dijon Duenas, known professionally as Dijon, is an innovative American RnB artist from Baltimore, Maryland. His musical journey began as one half of the duo Abhi//Dijon, formed with high school friend Abhirath Raju while studying at the University of Maryland. The duo released two EPs and a compilation, showcasing their unique sound and garnering attention in the music scene. Their final EP, “Montana,” released in 2016, marked a significant milestone before Dijon embarked on his solo career.
In 2019, Dijon released his debut solo EP, “Sci Fi 1,” which received critical acclaim for its experimental blend of RnB and folk influences. This project set the stage for his subsequent collaborations, including a notable partnership with Charli XCX on the track “Pink Diamond” from her album “how i’m feeling now.” His second EP, “How Do You Feel About Getting Married?” released in May 2020, further solidified his position as a rising star in the industry.
