Drippin is a South Korean boy band known for their diverse charms and ability to lead music, fashion, and trends, offering unique appeal to various brands. After six of its members were introduced to the public through the competition reality show ‘Produce X 101,’ Drippin, then known as W Project 4, released the single ‘1M1S’ in 2019, which charted at number 81 on Billboard’s K-pop Hot 100. Member Cha Jun-ho notably achieved ninth place on ‘Produce X 101,’ leading to his inclusion in the project group X1. The group officially debuted as Drippin on October 28, 2020, with their first extended play (EP) ‘Boyager,’ following a reality program titled ‘We are Drippin’ that documented their pre-debut journey.
During this period, the group reorganized into its current six-member formation (Hyeop, Yunseong, Changuk, Dongyun, Minseo, and Junho), following a member’s departure on July 28, 2023. In 2023, Drippin released their second Japanese single ‘Hello Goodbye’ and the third single album ‘Seven Sins,’ alongside holding their first fanmeeting, ‘Summer Day’s Dream.’ In 2024, Drippin released their fourth single album, ‘Beautiful Maze,’ which achieved significant sales and broke previous group records. They further solidified their industry presence with the release of their fifth single album, ‘Weekend.’ Looking ahead to May 2025, members Hyeop and Dongyun are announced to participate in the Mnet survival show ‘Boys II Planet,’ continuing to showcase their individual talents and the group’s diverse appeal. Drippin maintains its position as a leading force in music and trends, consistently offering unique appeal to various brands.
