Emily King

Emily King is a Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter known for her soulful and pop-infused R&B, offering brands a connection to authentic musical artistry and a dedicated global audience. After signing her first record deal with J Records in 2004, Emily King quickly made her mark with a collaboration on Nas’ seminal album, ‘Street’s Disciple,’ the same year. King’s debut album, ‘East Side Story,’ released in August 2007, garnered critical acclaim and earned her a prestigious Grammy Award nomination for Best Contemporary R&B Album in December 2007. Following this early success, King continued her artistic development independently, self-recording and releasing her follow-up EP, ‘Seven,’ in July 2011.

Throughout these initial years, she toured extensively both domestically and internationally, sharing stages with prominent artists including Nas, John Legend, Alicia Keys, and Maroon 5, significantly broadening her performance experience and global reach. King’s career continued its upward trajectory with increasing recognition, including being honored with the Holly Prize from The Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2012 for her exceptional songwriting. The same year, she toured the UK, opening for Emeli Sandé and performing at iconic venues such as The Royal Albert Hall. In 2013, she collaborated with José James on ‘No Beginning No End,’ further showcasing her versatility.

This album garnered significant industry recognition, culminating in a Grammy Award nomination for Best R&B Album at the 66th Annual GRAMMY Awards in 2024, demonstrating her sustained artistry and impactful contributions to the music industry.
