Evanescence, fronted by Amy Lee, emerged as a significant force in alternative metal and gothic rock, selling over 31 million albums worldwide and earning two Grammy Awards. After securing a deal with Wind-up Records in 2001, Evanescence, fronted by Amy Lee, went on to release their groundbreaking debut studio album, ‘Fallen,’ in 2003. This album quickly became a global phenomenon, propelled by international hit singles such as ‘Bring Me to Life’ and ‘My Immortal.’ ‘Fallen’ sold over four million copies in the US by January 2004, leading to the band earning two prestigious Grammy Awards in 2004 for Best New Artist and Best Hard Rock Performance. Evanescence further solidified their early success with their first live album and concert DVD, ‘Anywhere but Home,’ released in 2004, which sold over 1 million copies worldwide.

Evanescence has collectively sold over 31 million albums worldwide, solidifying their position as one of the best-selling hard rock and metal artists. The band remains actively touring the world and continues to expand its creative output. In 2025, Evanescence released ‘Afterlife’ for the Netflix series ‘Devil May Cry’ and the powerful single ‘Fight Like A Girl’ featuring K.Flay. Additionally, frontwoman Amy Lee teamed up with Halsey for the track ‘Hand That Feeds’ in 2025.
