Gwenifer Raymond

Gwenifer Raymond occupies a distinctive place among contemporary guitarists, an artist whose name now circulates alongside some of independent music’s most admired performers. Her craft has earned her a place on one of 2026’s most closely watched concert line-ups, and for bookers and festival programmers she represents the kind of exacting, idiosyncratic musician audiences remember long after the set ends.

The clearest milestone in the verified record arrived on February 3, 2026, when Gwenifer Raymond was announced as one of the supporting acts on Mitski’s upcoming tour, released in tandem with the single “I’ll Change for You”. Sharing billing with artists including Haley Heynderickx, Folk Bitch Trio, Maria Somerville, Tarta Relena, Canozan, La Zorra Zapata, Gustaf, and Sex Week, she joins a touring bill spanning headline shows and festival appearances across three continents, with residency dates in New York City, Los Angeles, and Sydney.

That appointment says much about how her peers regard her work. Supporting slots on a tour of this scale are not handed out casually; curators and headliners choose openers who can hold a room on their own terms. Gwenifer Raymond’s inclusion signals a performer trusted to open nights in arenas of that calibre and to translate intimate musicianship to major stages.

As the 2026 tour unfolds through New York, Los Angeles, Sydney, and beyond, it offers promoters, brands, and festival bookers a clear window into her current standing: a guitarist entering a wider international spotlight, with her profile and demand positioned to grow in step with every date.
