Kadebostany

Kadebostany is a Swiss electronic band established in 2008 by producer and DJ Guillaume de Kadebostany, also known as President Kadebostan (real name Guillaume Bozonnet). The band is known for creating a unique world of sound and visuals with anthems and dynamic live performances. Their discography includes several albums and singles, with notable chart success for their song “Castle in the Snow.” The foundational vision for Kadebostany aimed to build a ‘world’ based on Guillaume de Kadebostany’s musical aesthetic, rather than being confined to the electronic music genre alone.

The band’s career has been marked by a consistent output of original music and evolving collaborations. Their debut album, “The National Fanfare of Kadebostany,” was released in 2011. This was followed by “Pop Collection” in 2013, which reached position 55 on the Swiss Hitparade and 153 on the Belgian Ultratop (Wa). “Monumental” was released in 2018, charting at 30 in Switzerland and 140 in France. Over the years, Kadebostany has worked with several vocalists and musicians, including Amina Cadelli (2012–2015), Jérôme Léonard (2011–2014), and Kristina (2016–2020), and currently features Célia on vocals and guitar, Marc Veuthey on drums, and Ross Butcher on trombone.

Kadebostany has had significant milestones in their music releases. The single “Castle in the Snow,” a collaboration with The Avener, achieved commercial success, reaching position 3 on the Belgian Ultratop (Wa) and 15 in France in 2015. Other notable singles include “Walking with a Ghost” (2012), “Crazy in Love” (2013), “Frozen to Death” (2016), and “Mind If I Stay” (2017). Their work has garnered attention for its blend of electronic and pop elements, creating a distinctive auditory and visual experience for their audience.
