Lola Amour is a Filipino rock band known for their innovative sound, blending funk, rock, and pop, with their hit single ‘Raining in Manila’ gaining international recognition. After winning the prestigious Wanderband competition in 2017, Filipino rock band Lola Amour went on to release their debut EP, ‘Don’t Look Back,’ later that year, featuring popular tracks such as ‘Fools’ and ‘Maybe Maybe.’ The band first showcased their innovative sound, blending funk, rock, and pop, at the fourth Wanderland Music and Arts Festival in 2016. Their momentum continued with the release of the popular single ‘Pwede Ba’ in 2018, followed by ‘Sanity’ in 2019. That same year, Lola Amour was featured in the third season of ‘Coke Studio Philippines,’ where they collaborated with rapper Al James on tracks including ‘Sundan Mo Ko,’ further solidifying their presence within the Philippine music scene.
The band also performed at the Miss Universe Coronation Night in 2024, highlighting their mainstream appeal. Lola Amour continues to expand their global reach through impactful collaborations, including ‘Maria’ with Australian singer Oliver Cronin. In 2025, they further cemented their international presence by releasing ‘The Moment’ with Kokoro Kohatsu of the Japanese boy group Psychic Fever, and ‘With You’ featuring Chen Linong. The band also released the single ‘Misbehave’ in 2025, anticipating their upcoming album, ‘Love on Loop,’ set for release later that year, underscoring their ongoing evolution and diverse musical partnerships.
