Luke Hemmings

Luke Hemmings is an Australian singer and musician, widely recognized as the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist for the pop rock band 5 Seconds of Summer, and has also established a successful solo career. After consistently posting YouTube song cover videos under the username ‘hemmo1996’ starting in 2011, Luke Hemmings quickly attracted a dedicated following, which led to the formation of the globally recognized pop rock band 5 Seconds of Summer. As lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist, Hemmings solidified the band’s lineup with Calum Hood, Michael Clifford, and Ashton Irwin, marking their first official performance in December 2011. The band’s rapidly expanding online presence and organic fanbase development culminated in a significant publishing deal with Sony/ATV Music Publishing in 2012.

The album garnered immediate critical and commercial acclaim, debuting at the coveted number one spot on the ARIA Albums Chart and charting within the top 20 in both Belgium and the United Kingdom. He further expanded his solo discography with the release of his second solo project, the EP Boy, on April 26, 2024. To support this latest release and connect with his global fanbase, Hemmings commenced his highly anticipated ‘Nostalgia For A Time That Never Existed Tour’ in May 2024, performing to sold-out audiences across multiple territories.
