Mighty Oaks is an acclaimed indie/folk rock trio formed in 2010, consisting of Ian Hooper, Claudio Donzelli, and Craig Saunders. Based in Berlin, the band quickly gained recognition for their harmonious blend of acoustic-driven folk anthems. Their debut EP, self-released in 2011, showcased their talent and garnered significant attention on SoundCloud, setting the stage for their future success.
In 2014, Mighty Oaks released their first full-length album, “Howl,” under Universal Records, which peaked at No. 10 on the Official German charts. The album featured the hit single “Brother,” accompanied by a captivating music video filmed in Washington state. Their engaging performances at major festivals, including Melt! Festival and Montreux Jazz Festival, further solidified their reputation as a dynamic live act.
The band’s sophomore album, “Dreamers,” released in 2017, marked a pivotal moment in their career. Recorded in Washington State, the album was met with critical acclaim and led to sold-out tours across Europe and North America. Their self-released EP, “Storm,” showcased their versatility and commitment to their craft, allowing them to connect with fans on a deeper level.
Continuing their momentum, Mighty Oaks released their third album, “All Things Go,” in 2020, followed by “Mexico” in 2021. Their music, characterized by tight harmonies and autobiographical lyrics, resonates with themes of nature, love, and friendship, reflecting their artistic journey and dedication to their craft.
