Mika began a collaboration with Pilot pens, designing a collection of 24 different pens with his sister Yasmine to celebrate Pilot's 100th anniversary. A remixed version of Mika's song "Celebrate" was used in advertisements for this collaboration.
Mika became an Opel brand ambassador in Italy in autumn 2020. He starred in commercials for the Corsa-e (September 2020), the 100% electric Mokka-e (October 2020), and the Opel Grandland X Plug-in-Hybrid (February 2021). All three commercials featured his song "Domani."
Mika partnered with the job-search platform Indeed for an initiative called "Soundtrack of Empathy" in June 2021, encouraging workers to share music playlists to foster empathetic workplaces. Mika and his sister Yasmine collaborated on designing three watches for Swiss company Swatch. One collection, 'Kukulakuku' and 'Kukulakuki', was released in November 2013 for the company's 30th anniversary. They unveiled another Swatch watch, Mumu-Cucurrucucu, in May 2016.
In early 2010, Mika and his sister Yasmine designed an artistic, limited edition aluminum Coca-Cola bottle called the "Happiness Bottle." The project had a charitable aspect, with Mika donating his payment to Hôpitaux de France and Hôpitaux de Paris for their 'Maison des adolescents' project.

Michael Holbrook Penniman Jr., known professionally as Mika, was born on August 18, 1983, in Beirut, Lebanon. His family relocated to Paris, France, when he was one year old due to the war in Lebanon, and later moved to London when he was nine. Mika’s early life was marked by challenges, including severe bullying and dyslexia at Lycée Français Charles de Gaulle. He was subsequently home-schooled and received musical training from Russian opera professional Alla Ardakov, which led to him performing as a boy soprano with the Royal Opera.
