Ms Mr, composed of Lizzy Plapinger and Max Hershenow, established themselves as an American pop duo known for their distinct indie pop and dark wave sound. After releasing their four-song digital demo EP ‘Ghost City USA’ in 2011, American pop duo Ms Mr, comprised of vocalist Lizzy Plapinger and producer Max Hershenow, quickly gained traction with their 2012 singles ‘Hurricane’ and ‘Fantasy.’ The official music video for ‘Hurricane’ premiered on April 26, 2012, with the single becoming available on iTunes on July 10, 2012. ‘Hurricane’ achieved commercial success, charting at number 38 in Germany, establishing the duo’s distinct indie pop and dark wave sound. This early momentum culminated in the release of their debut EP, ‘Candy Bar Creep Show,’ on September 14, 2012, which featured ‘Hurricane’ along with ‘Bones’ and ‘Dark Doo Wop.’ A music video for ‘Fantasy’ followed on February 4, 2013.

Building on their foundational success, Ms Mr released their highly anticipated debut album, ‘Secondhand Rapture,’ on May 10, 2013, incorporating all tracks from their acclaimed EP. The duo continued their prolific output with their second album, ‘How Does It Feel,’ released on July 17, 2015. Ms Mr maintained an active touring schedule throughout 2016, performing for a dedicated fanbase and further cementing their presence in the alternative music scene. In January 2017, the duo announced a hiatus, allowing members to explore individual projects.
