MxPx is a long-standing punk rock band that has maintained an active presence in the music scene for over three decades. After captivating the punk rock scene with their influential debut album, ‘Pokinatcha,’ released in 1994 via Tooth & Nail Records, MxPx went on to forge a distinctive career marked by sustained releases and widespread touring. The band, formed in July 1992 by Mike Herrera, Yuri Ruley, and Andy Husted, quickly followed with ‘Teenage Politics’ in 1995 and ‘Life in General’ in 1996. After signing with A&M Records in 1997, which re-released ‘Life in General,’ MxPx released ‘Slowly Going the Way of the Buffalo’ in 1998, peaking at No.
A successful Kickstarter campaign in 2018 funded their tenth studio album, the self-titled ‘MxPx,’ released the same year. The band’s enduring influence was further highlighted when ‘Let’s Ride’ was added to the Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1+2 Remastered soundtrack in 2020. That same year, MxPx released ‘Life in Quarantine-The Collection’ and the single ‘Fever Dream,’ while also launching the live performance series ‘Between This World and the Next.’ In 2021, an exclusive MxPx Box Collection sold out immediately upon release, followed by the single ‘Can’t Keep Waiting.’ They teamed up with Kalie Wolfe for ‘Say Yes,’ featured on Five Guys streaming and Fortnite Radio, and released the live album ‘Southbound to San Antonio.’ MxPx announced their new album, ‘Find A Way Home,’ in 2023, preceded by the lead single ‘Stay Up All Night.’ The band is slated to release a new single, ‘One Zero Zero,’ in 2025, demonstrating their continuous engagement with their global fanbase.
