Nella is a Latin Grammy Award-winning artist celebrated for her distinctive musical style that blends Venezuelan folklore with modern and Andalusian influences. After gaining international recognition for her work in director Asghar Farhadi’s 2018 film ‘Everybody Knows,’ Latin Grammy Award-winning artist Nella released her critically acclaimed debut full-length album. In 2018, Nella was invited by Farhadi to sing and act in the film, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and starred Javier Bardem and Penélope Cruz. For the project, she performed songs specifically composed for the screenplay by Javier Limón.
Nella continued to expand her discography, releasing her sophomore album, ‘Doce Margaritas,’ in 2021. Demonstrating her versatile artistry and deep appreciation for Latin American music heritage, she unveiled her third album, ‘En Otra Vida,’ in May 2024. This latest release is a ten-track collection of covers, paying homage to esteemed Latin American authors and featuring notable collaborations with contemporary artists such as Yendry, Paula Arenas, and GALE. Nella’s distinctive musical style blends Venezuelan folklore with modern and Andalusian influences, a sound she has cultivated since her musical education, including her graduation from Berklee College of Music.
Beyond her studio albums and solo tours, Nella has consistently engaged in high-profile collaborations and special projects. She has worked alongside prominent figures in music, including Jennifer López, Juan Luis Guerra, and Carlos Vives, contributing her unique vocal talents to diverse recordings.
