Nick Lachey

Nick Lachey has successfully transitioned from multi-platinum selling boyband member and reality television star to a multifaceted host and executive producer. After gaining prominence as the lead singer of the multi-platinum selling boy band 98 Degrees, Nick Lachey went on to release a string of successful solo albums and establish himself as a prolific television host and executive producer. With 98 Degrees, Lachey was instrumental in the success of their self-titled debut album (1997) and the critically acclaimed follow-up, ’98 Degrees and Rising’ (1998), which collectively sold over 10 million records worldwide. His career expanded into television with the hit reality show ‘Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica,’ which aired from 2003 to 2005 and earned a People’s Choice Award in 2005 for Favorite Reality Show.

Concurrently, he launched his solo music career, releasing his debut album ‘SoulO’ in 2003. Lachey continued his musical journey with the release of his second solo album, ‘What’s Left of Me,’ in 2006, which quickly achieved Gold certification. Demonstrating his versatility, he also took on acting roles, including a recurring part in the television series ‘Charmed’ from 2004 to 2005. Lachey solidified his presence in television hosting, leading successful programs such as ‘The Sing-Off’ (2009-2014) and ‘Big Morning Buzz Live’ (2014-2015).

Beyond his multifaceted career in entertainment, Lachey has also engaged in diverse business and advocacy initiatives. He is a part-owner of the Hollywood Fame, an American Basketball Association team, and was involved with the Tacoma Rainiers baseball team. Further demonstrating his civic engagement, Lachey joined a group of investors for a marijuana legalization initiative in Ohio in 2015 and serves on the Entertainment Council of Feeding America.
