Peso Pluma, born Hassan Emilio Kabande Laija, has established himself as a Grammy-winning global music star, spearheading the resurgence of corridos by blending traditional Mexican ballads with contemporary Latin urban genres. After charting his initial success with the 2022 single ‘El Belicón’ featuring Raúl Vega, which gained significant traction on platforms like TikTok and Instagram and marked his first entry on Billboard Hot Latin Songs, Peso Pluma went on to achieve record-breaking milestones, quickly establishing himself as a Grammy-winning global music star. His early career saw the release of two live albums in 2020, followed by his debut studio album, ‘Ah y Qué?’, featuring twelve songs in April 2020. He continued this trajectory with his second studio album, ‘Efectos Secundarios,’ in March 2021, and the single ‘Por Las Noches’ in June 2021.
