NOWHERE2RUN is a production and artist duo comprised of Jami Morgan and Eric “Shade” Balderose, best known for their work in the hardcore band Code Orange. Melding their raw, experimental musical roots with cinematic soundscapes, Nowheretorun crafts emotionally charged, genre-defying music.
NOWHERE2RUN is a musical and production duo consisting of Jami Morgan and Eric “Shade” Balderose, both recognized for their involvement in the hardcore band Code Orange. The duo was formed as a creative outlet, allowing Morgan and Balderose to explore and integrate their experimental musical backgrounds with atmospheric, cinematic soundscapes. This combination results in emotionally charged, genre-defying music that extends beyond traditional boundaries of sound.
The project’s work encompasses music production and film scoring, applying a dark and atmospheric style to enhance storytelling. NOWHERE2RUN publicly emerged in 2024, announcing a new EP titled “What Did You Do?” set for release on October 31st, 2025. This EP was distributed through their own NOWHERE RECORDINGS label in partnership with Pale Chord and Rise Records BMG. The duo described NOWHERE2RUN as a continuation of their work with Code Orange, with Morgan stating it felt like the right time to reveal the project’s identity as artists. They have also embarked on limited fall US tours, referred to as immersive “Bloodrave” parties, starting October 24th, 2025, in Atlanta.
Throughout their career with NOWHERE2RUN, Morgan and Balderose have emphasized collaboration, featuring artists such as Loathe, Ho99o9, Kamiyada+, Backxwash, Sadistik, and Erex on their releases.
