NOWHERE2RUN emerged from the ambitious minds of Jami Morgan and Eric “Shade” Balderose, both integral to the Grammy-nominated band Code Orange. What began as a mere side project for producing music soon took on a life of its own, especially after Code Orange embraced a hiatus in 2024. It seems that the duo’s passion transformed their initial vision into a focal point, melding the realms of industrial techno, trap, and house with aggressive rock undertones.

Their journey has already seen the release of several EPs, each an exploration of sound: “Slivering The Senses” in 2024, followed by “What Did You Do?” in 2025, and the unexpected “BLOODRAVE”—a soundtrack for their striking live events. These records, pulsating with energy, capture the essence of contemporary music while maintaining a gritty edge. Each title invites listeners into an immersive experience, one where the lines between genres blur.

Collaboration is a cornerstone of their ethos, as evidenced by their work with a variety of artists such as Loathe, Backxwash, and the ever-experimental Ho99o9. Yet, it’s not purely about crossing paths; they’ve taken it upon themselves to foster new talent through their independent label, NOWHERE Recordings.
