NSYNC is a legendary American vocal group known for its pop, dance-pop, teen pop, and R&B music, achieving global recognition and a reputation for energetic performances and memorable melodies. After their self-titled debut album reached number one in Germany in its second week upon its May 1997 release, NSYNC went on to sell 820,000 units in the GSA region (Germany, Switzerland, Austria) and Eastern Europe. Comprising Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone, and Lance Bass, the legendary vocal group quickly established a reputation for energetic performances and memorable melodies, launched globally by BMG Ariola Munich. Early singles like ‘I Want You Back’ and ‘Tearin’ Up My Heart’ achieved top 10 positions across various European countries.

NSYNC solidified their global presence with high-profile performances, including the World Series, the Super Bowl XXXV halftime show with Aerosmith in 2001, and the 2002 Olympic Games. After announcing a temporary hiatus in early 2002 to pursue individual projects, the group ceased recording new material or touring together. Despite the hiatus, NSYNC has reunited for several notable appearances. They delivered a one-off performance at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards and were honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2018.

In 2019, they performed with Ariana Grande at Coachella. Most recently, NSYNC released the new song ‘Better Place’ for the film ‘Trolls Band Together’ in 2023, performing together at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards. In 2024, they performed the new song ‘Paradise’ at Justin Timberlake’s concert, reaffirming their enduring impact on pop culture.
