One Ok Rock has evolved from performing in small live houses to headlining stadium tours globally, establishing themselves as a significant force in the rock music scene. After their official debut in 2007, One Ok Rock quickly established their presence in the Japanese rock scene. Their 2010 single ‘Kanzen Kankaku Dreamer’ peaked at number nine on Oricon, and their fourth studio album, Niche Syndrome, peaked at number three on Billboard’s Top Albums Sales chart. By 2010, the band was headlining major festivals like Rock in Japan and Summer Sonic.
They received the Classic Rock Roll of Honour Award for Eastern Breakthrough Male Band in 2016, and Rock Sound Awards for Best International Band in 2017 and Best Live Performance in 2018. Their eighth album, Ambitions (2017), saw dual Japanese and English releases, supported by extensive Japanese arena and North American dates. The bands Ambitions Dome Tour followed in Japan in 2018. Their 2019 album, Eye of the Storm, released globally, led to a headlining North American tour and a supporting slot for Ed Sheeran on his acclaimed ÷ Tour.
In 2021, One Ok Rock established their own management agency, 10969 Inc., signaling independent career management. That year, they released the documentary Flip a Coin on Netflix. Their 2022 album, Luxury Disease, featured the single ‘Vandalize’ as the ending theme for Sonic Frontiers. In 2023, the band opened for Muse’s Will of the People World Tour and completed their own Luxury Disease Japan dome stadium tour.
One Ok Rock announced their 2024 Premonition World Tour and their eleventh studio album, Detox, for release in 2025, with plans to perform as an opening act on Linkin Park’s From Zero World Tour in France in 2025.
